Creating a New Profile in Windows XP
Click Start
Click Control Panel
Open User Accounts
Click Create a New Account
Type In a name for the new account.
Click Next
Select the account wisely. (Note: If you are creating one for the MSN How-To
stick with the Computer Administrator.)
Click Create Account.
Click on the new account
Click Change Password so we can make the computer secure.
Follow the on-screen instructions and click create Password.
Note: Last Item is Delete The Account. Please use this when done with MSN How-to and MSN is up and running. If no one has used this account, when asked, delete the files and the account.
This applies to:
Windows XP Home
Windows XP Proffetional
Note: Adding a user in Domain mode is different.
